This component is at the heart of the shopping-cart and the product catalog and controls the display for the product catalog. The calendar allows the customer to select a date required for the reservation and then displays the available rooms for that date in the product catalog. The customer can change the month displayed using the Prev month | Next month buttons to make a reservation that may be months in advance and select one or more rooms for that date.

Only the dates which display a green background are available to accept bookings. The dates with an orange background have been locked out or have already been booked by another customer. Any date prior to the current day are also unavailable for bookings for obvious reasons. The product catalog will only display the rooms available for the date selected by the customer. In the example below only two rooms are available for the date selected by the customer.
