The glaslyn iT shopping cart provides your customers with a much richer user experience with its user friendly interface and intuitive components.

The on-line booking calendar will only allow your customers to select from dates that have not been locked and where rooms are available. Reducing the possibility of rooms having multiple bookings for the same date.

Your customers can check there shopping cart at any time to ammend or make alterations to their reservation details before they proceed to the checkout for payment.

When a customer commits to a reservation the room is automatically locked to any further bookings for that date, and a confirmation of the reservation is sent automatically direct to your email account.


The shopping cart is a whole series of components which put together form an on-line e-commerce system. Each component has been designed and developed specifically for use by a guest house or small hotel and used on our own accommodation booking web site to great effect. you can view this at www.holidays.glaslyn.com

Once a customer has completed the room reservation details on the shopping cart page they can view their cart details (at any time) using the View cart button. This will take them to the complete booking details page. From here they can remove items from their cart or proceed to the secure checkout page on the PayPal site.



System requirements - option one
We supply you with a new Linux server with Apache web server and PHP fully configured to control your web site including the Postgresql database system to hold the shopping cart, product list and customer booking details. Where required we will supply a fully qualified domain name for the web site and contact emails and either configure your existing web application to use ecommerce, or design and develop a new web commerce site. We also supply you with a password protected control panel web site for internal use only. To update your shopping cart details and customer booking information.
